Agustín Reyes Ponce
Accounting and Management

Agustín Reyes Ponce is the founder of several bachelor’s programmes offered by Mexico’s Universidad Iberoamericana (UAP), and was a professor at FCA, UNAM and IPN.

The findings of Reyes’s research define administration as a systematic set of rules established to achieve optimal efficiency in the way a social organ is organized and managed. Additionally, administration is the technique of coordination resulting from the highest level of efficiency in the coordination of things and the people who constitute a company.

He follows the ideology of authors such as Peterson, Terry Fayol, among others, who describe the characteristics of administration.

Agustín Reyes Ponce’s undeniable merit was his having been Mexico’s first administration theorist. His books laid solid foundations, and he did so with the use of very educational techniques.

He aroused interest in administration and deserves respect and gratitude.
