The expert committee is an autonomous organ established by the Council of University Presidents that encourages the participation of scholars. Its mission is to collaborate on the Consortium’s programmes and to build up thematic networks among the academic bodies of the member institutions.
The committees are comprised of 60 scholars, one from each university and thematic area. The committees’ members have been appointed by the heads of each of the higher education institutions constituting this Consortium. They form part of the academic action forum.
It was agreed to divide the committee into the following fields, whose number may increase if agreed upon by the Council of University Presidents: architecture, biology, accounting and management, civil engineering, medicine, psychology as well as veterinary medicine and animal husbandry.
