Objetive:
To encourage further qualifications, competencies and learning by reaching consensus, in terms of competencies, knowledge, curricula and skills in 7 fields of knowledge, with the use of one shared work methodology.

Strategies: |

To introduce the Tuning Project at each of CUMex’s universities.

To share basic documents concerning generic competencies in order to enable the coordinators of the programme at each institution to hold discussions.

To hold internal meetings gathering each university’s coordinator and the 7 members of the expert committees of that same institution.

To identify generic competencies according to the Latin American Tuning Project proposal.
Goals:
- Collaborative work
- o hold monthly meetings with the programme's coordinating group, in order to follow up the activities of the task force.
- Definition of generic competencies:
- To prepare a glossary of terms that defines the generic competencies agreed upon by the expert committees.
- To prepare surveys into generic competencies, by adapting the formats used by the Latin American Tuning Project to CUMex's proposals.
- To define the size of the surveys' sample at each of CUMex's institutions.
- To conduct the surveys into generic competencies among students, graduates, scholars, employers and non-government organizations.
- To design and develop a statistical program with the aim of entering the information provided by the surveys, following the Latin American Tuning Project proposal.
- To analyse the surveys' results and produce documents related to each of CUMex's fields of knowledge.
- To draw up the final comprehensive document that contains the results obtained from the 7 fields of knowledge.
- Definition of specific competencies:
- To review the advancement in specific competencies reported at the schools, faculties and associations relating to each of the 7 fields of knowledge.
- To prepare a glossary of terms that defines specific competencies.
- To prepare surveys into specific competencies, by adapting the formats used by the Latin American Tuning Project to CUMex's proposals.
- To define the size of the surveys' sample at each of CUMex's institutions.
- To conduct the surveys into specific competencies among students, graduates, scholars, employers and non-government organizations.

- To prepare a manual aimed at defining the mechanisms and guidelines for credit recognition, in collaboration with the members of the mobility programme.
- Definition of potential mobility programmes
- To produce a catalogue with information concerning quality educational programmes, including the programmes' curricula, credit given by academic activities and the overall credit given by the programme.
